Tuna Melt Sandwich with Salad

Ingredients

Wholemeal sandwich bread8 slices
Canned tuna, drained200 g
Spreadable cheese wedges4
Grated cheese80 g
Mixed salad greens8 handfuls
Cherry tomatoes400 g
Apple cider vinegar4 tsp
Olive oil4 tbsp

Preparation

1.

Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F). In a bowl, mix the drained tuna and the cheese wedges. Season with salt and pepper.

On a baking sheet, arrange half of the bread slices. Spread the tuna and cheese mixture over them and sprinkle with half of the grated cheese.

Close the sandwiches with the remaining bread slices. Sprinkle with the rest of the grated cheese and bake for 10 minutes at 220°C (425°F).

Meanwhile, prepare the vinaigrette. In a bowl, mix the apple cider vinegar and 1 tablespoon of olive oil per person. Season with salt and pepper.

Wash and halve the cherry tomatoes.

6.

Once golden and crispy, remove the sandwiches from the oven.

Serve the tuna melt sandwiches on a plate with the salad greens and cherry tomatoes. Season with the vinaigrette and enjoy right away. It's ready!
